Source of some elements of article creation[edit]

Minor amounts of the structure and wording of this article were taken from Paul F. Zukunft. Significant elements of content in the Karl_L._Schultz#U.S._Coast_Guard section were adapted from [1], which is noted as a cite in the section. The source is a United States government .mil site, and is public domain. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:23, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing into the Biden admin?[edit]

I'm aware he intends to keep Commandant Berger and Sec McCarthy. Anyone aware of Karl Schultz's fate? Sucker for All (talk) 16:29, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Commandant Schultz will serve out his four year term as commandant as all other commandants of the Coast Guard have done. His term of office will expire 30 May 2022. Although the commandant of the Coast Guard serves at the pleasure of the of the president (like all flag and general officers), it is highly unlikely that President Biden would chose to relieve Admiral Schultz. The commandants office isn't a political office, it is military office. Cuprum17 (talk) 16:38, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Alright cool. Good that I didn't make an inappropriate edit here. Commandant Schultz remains Coast Guard Head Sucker for All (talk) 21:03, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fouled Anchor Coverup[edit]

This rather exhortative article should be updated with evidence that Schultz covered up an unflattering but important investigation into rape and sexual assault at the coast guard academy. This has been reported by major credible sources. https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/08/politics/coast-guard-sexual-assault-coverup-invs/index.html 2603:8000:B6F0:8DC0:4CFA:C102:5C4C:C3FF (talk) 19:43, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
