Clarification needed
[edit]Re: the first paragraph: If the temple is 600 years old, how was it built in the early 20th century? Captain Packrat 04:16, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Silver gate of template and some marble work was done in 20th Century by King Ganga Singh. Temple existed before that.
General Retooling
[edit]I'm working on redoing some of the article's grammar, though it obviously needs more than that. Zelse81 (talk) 03:33, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Just a few things to do that I've noticed: split the article up a bit more, rework some of the spelling (I assume that the reason so many villages are redlinked is that their names are improperly romanized, or else they're unimportant villages, or they are important and need articles, but I lack the knowledge to know which is which), and generally rewrite it to include a non-religious point of view. Zelse81 (talk) 04:03, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Major Re-organization
[edit]Reorganized article. Eliminated initial picture (Karni_Mata_Tempel_Allerh_w.jpg) as it is a picture of pilgrims in the temple and not of the temple itself. Placed the “Legend” in the “Temple” subsection and consolidated this area. Made significant clarifications in the text and re-did the Temple Infobox to reflect the Karni Mata TEMPLE, and not Karni Mata, the person. Removed (Karni mata wiki.jpg) as it adds nothing to the article. Removed all redlinks. This article still wants for further re-writing. BBODO (talk) 22:17, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Age ?
[edit]Her age at death is listed as 150. This seems impossible. Is this a verified age or just a legend ? StuRat (talk) 03:55, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Grammar of Biography section
[edit]Though i cleaned up one section of this page, the grammar is shocking and needs a complete overhaul. Reading the legend of the follower on the boat who called while Karni Mata milked her view is really bad and as I am not well versed with this deity I don't think i can sort it myself. It badly needs editing.
