Page move/title, etc.[edit]

I'm surprised that there wasn't a discussion about the page move and renaming. I have never seen the composer referred to in English literature on her as anything but Kassia. It is the name used in most of the secondary literature in the article as well. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert (talk) 05:28, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If there are no objections registered, I will move the article to Kassia and rename the main title to fit English language citations of the author/composer soon. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert (talk) 01:00, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Moved. Note that every published source cited in the literature but one uses the name "Kassia" so it would need a balance of citations using Kassiani to move back. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert (talk) 15:31, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

contemporary with what?[edit]

It is variously spelled Κασσιανή (contemporary pronunciation [kaˈsçani]), …

Contemporary with Kassia herself, or with the reader of this article? If the latter (as detailed knowledge of pronunciation in her time seems unlikely) I'd urge changing contemporary to modern. —Tamfang (talk) 04:55, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Death?[edit]

The introduction says she died before 865, the section on her life says she died between 867 and 890. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:681:980:7D90:E1F8:77DB:7DB:363D (talk) 21:52, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
