Birth year unclear?

[edit]

According to the online source I found (listed in article), she was born in 1901, not 1902; could someone check with her biography (or other sources), and update the article? Also, the publishing year for her autobiography is claimed as 1940, not 1939; Worldcat confirms the 1940 date, so I changed it. 75.214.33.64 (really, User:JesseW/not logged in) 05:49, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to the confusion, I have found an image of her gravestone [1] and 1900 is written as her birth year there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThisisnotaUsername (talkcontribs) 04:47, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

According to a brief bio of her in the Akron (OH) Beacon Journal, 2 October 1926, p. 21 (she wrote for them as a syndicated columnist), she was 25 years old in October 1926. Wouldn't that mean she was born in 1901? DonnaHalper (talk) 01:40, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And further, I checked the census on Ancestry.com-- the 1915 New Jersey census (she was away at boarding school) said she was born in August 1900. DonnaHalper (talk) 05:08, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio?

[edit]

I did not find a copyvio source on my first try, but there is enuf info redundant between the 2nd & 3rd 'graphs to suggest something was cut & pasted in. History should be inspected to clarify situation.

Brad Bigelow, Neglected Books Page

I'm working my way through Brad Bigelow's brilliant, massive Neglected Books website and came across Brush ("This Is on Me"). Great site, check it out!--Ralfdetlef (talk) 16:55, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
