Did she play badminton?

[edit]

There is also a Kitty McKane who played badminton between 1920 and 1930, and won nine All England Open Badminton Championships. Is she the same women? MontanNito 15:43, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you. I have added this in the article. MontanNito 18:16, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Was she ever actually called "Kathleen McKane Godfree"? This is a very American way of giving a married woman's name: I would expect a British woman simply to have changed her name from McKane to Godfree on marriage, and so be "Kathleen Godfree (née McKane). Further to which, she was far, far, far better known as "Kitty Godfree". That really should be the title of the article, imo. -- JackofOz (talk) 15:41, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
