https://novataxa.blogspot.com/2017/09/themira-lohmanus.html - new species discovery

Hi @Justanothersgwikieditor: I'm just working on this article, which I think you're right doesn't articulate properly why Su is so important, but I wondered if you had any further suggestions while I tinker with it? Thanks (Lajmmoore (talk) 20:42, 30 November 2019 (UTC))[reply]

@Lajmmoore: I am more of a wiki gnome and fixing maintenance tags as much as possible. For notability guide, WP:ACADEMIC will be good. New species discovery might not be good enough (see the link above which I noted while editing here). Based on criteria, in my opinion, she had not achieved notability yet. So if possible, based on the guide, try to find one that she fit in, find a source and make sure it is in the lead, example "She is a fellow of notable prestigious society.". --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 02:04, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Justanothersgwikieditor: Thanks (and thanks for the gnome-ingyou do)! She was suggested by Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red so I'm going to go and ask for more advice there. I did use the template - and believe her impact to fit Criterion 1. (Lajmmoore (talk) 09:33, 2 December 2019 (UTC))[reply]
@Lajmmoore:Not sure how they nominate choices but yeah, it will be good for more experienced editors to look through. As said, my experience is mostly wiki gnoming and any articles I created are sportpersons or politicians (notability is never an issue), so they will be better placed to advise. That also means if I think Kathy is not notable does not carry much weight also. --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 09:43, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Justanothersgwikieditor: Thanks! I think @Abishe: reviewed this article earlier (thanks!) so I think it's OK's by the WikiWomenInRed team. Thanks both for your help! (Lajmmoore (talk) 18:35, 2 December 2019 (UTC))[reply]
