Notification Request

[edit]

Would someone do me the courtesy of notifying me when the person who keeps tagging this article as non-notable manages to drum up enough support to delete it? I don't have the mental energy (or the IRL time) to dedicate to keeping a close eye on such shenanigans, so it would be helpful if someone would just drop a note on my page once that person is finally successful. I reinstated a tag I agreed with that was originally placed by Onel5969 during Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Since it seems there are multiple editors who doubt this article meets notability guidelines (myself included), I started an WP:AFD that you can find here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Katie Beth Hall. This was in no way an attempt to be malicious by either of us; for myself, I am only wanting to follow the Wikipedia's guidelines on WP:BLP and WP:SIGCOV. Recent edits re "blogs", etc.

[edit]

User:Beccaynr: Slashfilm and Den of Geek are reliable sources. Wikipedia articles that cite Slashfilm do not go out of their way to point out that it is technically a "blog", and Den of Geek is not considered a blog. Slashfilm is a mainstream news website for films, and so is Den of Geek. Your recent edits were misleading, not clarifying, and they make it seem that you have some kind of agenda here. You have already voted to "delete" at the AfD, and your attacks on the article itself do not seem neutral. Further, your assertion that the Bleeding Cool review was "in reference to Hall's smaller role compared to other cast members" is not supported by the review and require you to make unsupported suppositions. If there is a WP:CONSENSUS at the AfD to delete, then the article will be deleted. If not, then it is not neutral to imply that these reliable sources do not mean what they say about her. -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:54, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
