Census update[edit]

The most recent Census of India reported in the "Population" section of this article was 2001. This section should be updated to match the most recent 2021 Census of India.

To zoom out even more, beginning this article with a "Population" section feels like it should not have such high hierarchy on the page. Perhaps before having a Population section, there could be a section containing more general history of Kattuputhur. Open to discussion on what a more significant section could be.
