Funky Fanfare = Soul Thing? I'll look into the liner notes to see which song was actually sampled.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.68.197.111 (talk) 16:46, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other Works

[edit]

Mansfield, according to Game Show Wikia, also did music for the 1980's CBS game show Press Your Luck. Song sheet included in this ref: http://gameshows.wikia.com/wiki/Press_Your_Luck

But here's something better: he also did some songs for the adult film "A Girl's Best Friend," as detailed at IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082452/soundtrack ElMeroEse (talk) 04:20, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

“Library music recordings”?

[edit]

The article repeatedly refers to something it calls "library music recordings" without explaining what these are. I've been a professional musician all my long life, working in rock, jazz, and classical idioms with a graduate degree in music theory and published works, and I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. "Library Music" in this sense is refferring to Production Music Philedmondsuk (talk) 20:17, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Put that link, along with some explanation, in the article itself. My point is that if I don't know, plenty of other Wikipedia readers won't know either. TheScotch (talk) 20:55, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This has been on my radar for the last week or so, yet there still are no official sources announcing his passing. What's the deal? I think a death notice should include at least one primary source or one reputable secondary source. Electricmaster (talk) 08:50, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
