Why does it say he died for? hes still alive, i don't have an account, somebody please fix this

Do you think it's true that Kel died? i mean there are constantly rumors that an actors died or all that bs. I really hope he hasn't he's so funny and i loved him in all the nickelodeon shows. I loved him in Kenen & Kel! he was so cute and so flipping hilarious. "Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda! is it true? i do i do i do oo!" he's so cute!

He was always the cute, funny one. Everybody loved Kel.
There are rumors about everywhere that Kel has died. None of them are confirmed, and a lot of people would really like to know if the dude is alive.
If he died, I would be very upset.
But I think we would know by now. I mean, the rumours said that he died on the 9th, and .. well we would just know.

Kel Mitchell didn't die.
People have been trying to spread that rumour since '03. He's in sitcoms and he's been in movies since then. Come on, people. They aren't going to stop with the rumours about him, for some insane reason. And anybody who falls for a myspace rumour ..just. Don't do it.
The latest rumour was that he died on July 17th of this month. Lies. All lies! He is not dead. He is alive and happy with his wife and two kids, in his big house in LA. He is still sexy, he is still funny, and he is still breathing. And of course he will always be the favourite. Kel > Kenan. Sorry, Thompson.

I don't know who put that he was dead in the article, but when I wrote it I certainly didn't put that there. I originally shot down the rumour. This is so childish. He isn't dead! Honestly.

I checked this article because I'd heard about the urban myths about his death. With all the discussion on this talk page perhaps something should be added to the article? Y'know, just saying something like "there were rumours of his death" or whatever.
wikipedia does fact, not rumours.
it is a FACT that he is alive.

- we dont have to put every myspace rumour that goes around, even something as stupid as this. the guy isnt dead. he ISNT dead. wiki doesnt concern with rumours. we could start a rumour that he is white, and that would be just as idiotic.

Date of Death?
The article states that he was born in 1978 and died in 1969. Last time I checked, that cannot be possible. In addition, Wikipedia links to the date/year would be nice. Just a couple more things to add to the cleanup list.

Since when was Kel a gangster? One of his categories is Gangster Disciples, thought no evidence was showed of the page, If anyone has proof he is one of them, news page link please.
