IB edit warring[edit]

Trinton5, please don't continue to edit war on the name in the IB. I suggest you look at Template:Infobox person for advice on how they work, which suggests it's not best used just to repeat the same information that is already in the IB and in the opening line of the article. – SchroCat (talk) 21:26, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, FFS, you've reverted again? You at at the edge of WP:3RR and any further reverting will be reported in the appropriate forum. – SchroCat (talk) 21:27, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing at that page states to refrain from adding the middle name to the box. This is a common practice on this site. I've done it several times and never had a problem. See pages Michael Moore and Nicole Kidman for examples. They have their middle names inside the box. Why make an exception here? This encyclopedia should be consistent. Tinton5 (talk) 21:41, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's a pointless addition to make. If she had an entirely different name, then there may be a point, but simply to repeat the name at the top of the idiot box is utterly pointless, particularly when it's the opening words of the page. – SchroCat (talk) 21:53, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with SchroCat. Inoboxes should be kept as concise as possible. Adding an entire paramater just to show the person's middle name is not helpful, and indeed it is harmful because it creates more unnecessary code at the top of the article and interferes with the WP:LEAD. I suggest that you remove this from the other articles where you have added it. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:58, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That is completely ridiculous. Kelli Christine O'Hara is different from Kelli O'Hara. Those are just your opinions which I totally disagree with. They don't add any clutter at all. I asked at the infobox person talk page to see what they say. Tinton5 (talk) 22:02, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
And by the way, I did not add them to other pages. Other users have long before I joined this site. Tinton5 (talk) 22:04, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You said above "I've done it several times", and now you say you haven't. Which is it? You can see why Ssilvers thought you had.... – SchroCat (talk) 22:08, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
On other pages I have not mentioned. Not those two examples though. Tinton5 (talk) 22:17, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[left] There have been several responses now at the Infobox Person Talk page confirming that you do not need the birth name = parameter unless the article name is very different from the birth name; not in order merely to show a middle name. -- Ssilvers (talk) 08:28, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

List of "concerts"[edit]

Just my opinion: I don't think that listing her concerts at the bottom of the article is helpful. She is not a significant "concert" singer like, say Andrea Bocelli, whose concerts and recordings are the most important parts of his career. If one or more of the concerts, such as Encores, was especially important, then it should be described in her career section with appropriate references, but I would delete the Concerts section. Otherwise, the bottom of the article is just a long list of things that have less and less encyclopedic value. I'll certainly support whatever you decide to do. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:32, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Toss the lot I do not care, Kelli O'Hara will survive!!Flami72 (talk) 21:33, 17 November 2017 (UTC) [Copied above from user Talk page].[reply]
Thanks. I moved some missing info up into the Career section. -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:44, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
