Coyote attacks on humans

[edit]

I have added the following section on "Coyote attacks on humans". There are currently two recorded fatal attacks on humans by coyotes. Keen was the first fatality.[1] The second fatality was Taylor Mitchell, a 19-year-old Canadian folk singer. On October 29, 2009, Mitchell died from injuries sustained in an attack while hiking, during a tour break, in the Cape Breton Highlands, Nova Scotia, Canada.[2] It has twice been deleted. I believe that, due to the rarity of these events -- only 2 have ever been recorded in history -- the section is relevant to this article. Any thoughts on this matter? Thanks. UCDavis quotes only 1 fatality. http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn74135.html

Only one in California. The other, Taylor Mitchell, was in Nova Scotia. Chrisrus (talk) 00:02, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
