The Farmhouse is privately owned and has been restored with Federal Interior Department, Maryland Historical Trust and Mary K. Bowman Foundation of Hagerstown, Maryland funds. The restored house does not look anything like your photo. I can send you a present picture, if I knew how or had the means. The house was restored under the direction of the Maryland Historical Trust and Archie W. Franzen who at the time was the Historic Architect at Harpers Ferry West Virginia.

We'd be glad to have a current picture - the image we have is a public-domain image from the Historic American Buildings Survey. Keep in mind that Wikipedia can use only freely-licensed images. Acroterion (talk) 14:27, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
