I have been having trouble posting an image of a painting done by Kenneth C. Madsen. The painting is called "Discovery" painted in 1992. Kenneth C. Madsen died in 2002 and per U.S. copyright laws the family of Kenneth C. Madsen retains copyright of the image until December 25th, 2072. As his son I am the executor of his estate and retain control over the copyright. I do not have any official documentation to prove this. Is this necessary? I have uploaded the image several times to this page and have repeatedly had it removed. What do you require for this image to appear on this Wikipedia page? Thank you. Steven K. Thank you for asking, in order for it the be able to be used on Wikipedia preferably it should be under a Free license like the CC-BY-SA-3.0. I would recommend you sending an email to our OTRS team (see WP:OTRS for further information) regarding this. They will be able to help you out in your request. --Clarkcj12 (talk) 01:41, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
