Neslen about antisemitism[edit]

An editor is trying to insert criticism of Stern's definition of anti-Semitism by someone named Arthur Neslen, claiming that he is "a journalist with credibility on this subject". Is there any evidence for this? Since the source is The Guardiain's blog, it's difficult for me to assess whether the above statement is correct, but at first glance it doesn't quite seem like Neslen is a notable journalist. I therefore believe that the addition is undue weight, although it would be interesting to insert criticism by indisputably notable people (if any). —Ynhockey ^(Talk) 17:29, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Role in drafting EUMC and IHRA definition of anti-semitism[edit]

The IHRA definition of antisemitism has now been adopted by many countries and organizations. Stern testified to the US congress that the IHRA definition is based on the EUMC definition, and for that he "drafted the definition, in consultation and collaboration with other experts on antisemitism". Academy?[edit]

Was Kenneth Stern's Role In IHRA Limited?[edit]

Kenneth Stern is often described as being the "main drafter" of the IHRA, but others give him credit for a much more limited role. Actually, he claimed as much before Congress.

However, in an open letter, Rabbi Andrew Baker, Deidre Berger and Michael Whine describe Stern's role as more limited and only regarding an early draft. They write: "Ken played the vitally important but limited role of being the communications hub as various drafts and proposed language were circulated, slowly moving toward a consensus agreement where his role ended."
