Jensen?[edit]

Kerby Miller is considered the foremost expert on the history of Irish-American immigration, and he's contributed a great deal to this area of scholarship, over the course of several decades (I believe he's been actively publishing since the 70s, or at least according to the research I've been doing). In light of this, I can hardly see how one could justify mentioning his spat with Jensen in a rather short bio. This dispute was so insignificant in his career that he didn't even bother publishing any challenges to Jensen's paper. Instead he reviewed the work of a schoolgirl and assisted her in publishing it (which the press declared a definitive refutation of Jensen's argument, rightly or wrongly); but if it weren't for that we probably would've never even heard of this controversy.Jonathan f1 (talk) 15:28, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
