WP:LEAD
  • The LEAD gives me the feeling of comprehensive. I have the feeling that you have told me just about everything. I just wonder about two things upon reading it.

    • I am also wondering if the other top 10 featured singles ("Got Your Back" and "Number One") should be in the LEAD. However, I am not putting my foot down. Basically, I think at this point in her career, they may be highlights, but I don't think in the long run we will want to keep them in a well-trimmed LEAD.       • She's still making music (is currently working on a new album), but recently pursued acting. And how are "Got Your Back" and "Number One" top 10 singles?       • It is pretty simple. The WP:LEAD is suppose to be a summary of the article. You don't really mention how socially conscious Hilson is in the LEAD.           • The article is terribly void of personal stuff. She may not be the biggest star, but we should have some record of some personal stuff. Has she dated anyone notable, been engaged or married, had kids. Failing any of that type of personal stuff, we are going to need some personal stuff from her own family. I might be able to let the unidentified parents, her rank in the litter and such pass. It is hard for me to believe that there is nothing in the public domain that could help us fill in some personal stuff to give her recording career some context.               • There must be some straws to grab at. Has she walked the red carpets of any of these award shows with a date? You have to either find some personal relationship content or her parents names to get a GA from me.       • It depends on the context. Some celebrities (E.g. Eva Longoria and Wilmer Valderrama) call all their friends brothers and sisters. The context has to be very clear and twitter names that are also Hilson would probably be necessary.   • The hold now has one remaining concern (that may be fatal). The article needs some personal content. She'll be 30 this year and has been in the public eye for five years. In order for this to pass item 3(a) of WP:WIAGA, this article needs to tell the reader something about her personal life. Whether this article passes will come down to whether any such content can be found. I would also like to know her parents names and what her ordinal (by age) rank was among her siblings, but those are not fatal.
