Takeover Dates

[edit]

I currently am employed with Kerr-McGee, and was informed of the update's information at a general meeting on July 26, 2006. I just thought I'd put this down in case anyone couldn't find the information on the official websites of either company. This information should be posted in those places relatively soon. Big Question

[edit]

Why doesn't the "controversy" section mention anything about Karen Silkwood (even just a link to the wiki entry)? Why is it only in the trivia section? rom65536, Aug 03, 2006

Maybe no one realised its importance. You might like to rectify that.Tyrenius 05:46, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merger with Anadarko

[edit]

Kerr-McGee acquired by Anadarko. Oryx92 02:58, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Don't Merge After doing a little research I find a lot companies that have merged with another company or have gone out of business still have a Wikipedia page that gives the history of the company. I believe this page should remain as well. -- Xltel 14:33, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose merge - This was an historic company with a long notable history and all of this content would be off-topic in the Anadarko article, not to mention there is too much content here to be merged to the latter. --Oakshade 03:45, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
