Description of Blogger Werner Patels

[edit]

It is more accurate to describe Werner Patels as a 'federal Liberal' than an 'Alberta Tory.' Patel's belongs to "Liblogs" a Liberal blogger group, has Liberal logos on his site, (which is in Liberal colours). He was active in the federal Liberal leadership race. Any support he has for the Alberta Tories is temporary at best, while Taft remains leader of the Alberta party. Changing the description is simply a transparent attempt to mute the effect of Patel's non-support of Taft. Joey2923 18:44, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My comments were taken out of context. I would like to have them removed. They were stating that Taft will resign before Dion. -Wild Rose Grit — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.53.138.98 (talk) 06:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think citing the false media of bloggers is relevant in saying that his leadership is being undermined within the party. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.148.21.19 (talk) 01:53, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the person adding the blog examples of "threats" to Kevin's leadership... please review the guidelines for using reliable sources (Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Examples). They clearly state that blogs are NOT acceptable for use as sourced material in wikipedia. This is especially problematic as it is entirely possible the blog belongs to the person doing the editing. As for the newspaper article from the Edmonton Sun, a newspaper source obviously requires a date and page number to be valid, as would be required in even the most basic school paper. Due to these factors the information will be removed as it is not properly sourced and cannot be verified. --Mouseprotector 16:42, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proper source

[edit]

Question Are the opinion pages of the Ed Journal a proper source for a biography? It makes it sound like more like a campaign platform for change than a true biography with this one paragraph. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.166.241.130 (talk) 00:25, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
