Notes:

Quotes - Should be EXACTLY as they were in the original. If the original was NOT in italics, then the quote should not be either; if the original title was Gaddama it should not say Khaddama on Wiki pages!
Refs - English refs! It is no good giving refs in an obscure language that English speakers will not be able to translate using any of the more common tools, such as Google translator or Babelfish. Refs and cites should be able to be checked.
Plagiarism/Copyvio - there was a lot of material in the plot section which was copied from [1] which is at best plagiarism, and more probably directly a WP:COPYVIO, and I have deleted it.

Removal of citation needed[edit]

I have replaced the cn's

There is no mention in the body of text of the Arabic word, only the [2] quote for the colloquial definition.
The text discusses the origin but it is not cited. "Kamal, who was inspired by the thematic significance and dramatic value of the story, immediately picked it up for his next film."
"Banned across the Middle East" The BangaloreMirror.com report at first seems fine but there should be more mention of it than the Bangalore Mirror. The main reason is that the text is mirrored on AshMagic.com - where the text is correctly punctuated ("him credit for Dor.") and the "reporter" has only this one article to their name, as it seems do most of the other reviewers, which suggest that it is a user post rather than a reporter. The BangaloreMirror.com article is not correctly punctuated, as it has a missing . after the last sentence before the posters name ("him credit for Dor"). With such an important statement of censorship there should be somewhere that the ban is mentioned other than just these two sites.
"realistic" - The sentence does not have a reference in the body of the text "The film received generally favorable critical reviews and some applauded Khaddama as a realistic film.", nor do the quotes in the reception section match the statement. None of the quotes says anything like "it is a realistic film"
"best in her career" - Not stated in the refs given. Unfortunately I am not Indian and this is the English Wikipedia. Refs should be in English where possible and this is one example. Of the four refs only two are in English. The first, SyFy [2], does not say anything about it being her best performance. The second, ScreenIndia.com [3], does not say anything about it being her best film either.
"best one in Malayalam with a Gulf-centric theme" - Where is this mentioned in the body of text?

Please address these issues before removing cn's Chaosdruid (talk) 17:51, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
