What was the official group on the disc for "What Is?" Was that a King Khan and the Shrines album? On another note, is it worth referencing Memphis Soul? There's no doubt that they sound like a garage band on Stax. K1da42 (talk) 16:36, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this review of King Khan & the Shrines' What Is?!. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it as an external link on this page, or, if a What Is?! page is created, as a professional review on that page. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! (mixed) [1]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on King Khan and the Shrines. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

There are nine entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
  • ELpoints #3) states: Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
  • LINKFARM states: There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
  • WP:ELMIN: Minimize the number of links.
