A mess
[edit]This article is a mess - the title should be Lei, not Lane, and the content needs updating. Can someone help? Rodparkes (talk) 07:24, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- I've "given it a go". Can't quite figure out how to move the page as there is already a redirect by the proper name ... Verne Equinox (talk) 01:42, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

King Yin Lane → King Yin Lei – Request made 19 April 2012 by user:North south 101 using template:movenotice. Reason given "name used by the HK government" -- PBS (talk) 18:37, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Suggest to rename the article 'King Yin Lei', since this is the name adopted by the HK government.---North south 101 (talk) 01:31, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose for now The original nominator has not provided any sources to prove that the proposed title is the name used most commonly in sources in the English language. Hill Crest's WikiLaser (Boom.) (talk) 19:08, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
- Support - the original nominator doesn't need to, this is a Wikipedia mistake, the name "King Yin Lane" while found in planning application documents circa 2007 barely exists except in mirrors of this article. And the sources for the correct name are in the article. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:04, 10 September 2012 (UTC)

Needs to be updated
[edit]This article is woefully out of date: it basically stops in 2008, with the declaration that it is an historic monument. It needs to be updated with the extensive renovation (2008-2010) and reopening as a public attraction under the management of the HK government. In addition, a gallery of pictures might be better than the current sidebar with only a few; Wikimedia Commons has 20+ great images to choose from, including more interior shots. Unfortunately, I do not read Chinese so many of the primary sources are unavailable to me. — Molly-in-md (talk) 13:06, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
Done Added more information about the decade since 2008. Moved pictures to a gallery, with additional shots from Commons. However, please feel free to add details and citations, especially if you read Chinese! — Molly-in-md (talk) 16:26, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
