Sexual harassment incidents

[edit]

On October 5, 2018, a few women shared on Twitter, their uncomfortable interactions with Kiran Nagarkar. In the spirit of the #metoo and #timesup movement, I think we should mention these reports on Nagarkar's Wikipedia page. Here is a link to the news: https://newscentral24x7.com/media-metoo-women-journalists-sexual-harassment/ I can't seem to edit the page myself. Whoever can, please do go ahead and make the additions. Notability

[edit]

As mentioned in the article, Nagarkar is the subject of an anthology (of articles written by others about his work). This clearly meets the WP:BIO criterion, "The person has created a significant or well-known work, or collective body of work, which has been the subject of an independent book or feature-length film, or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews." If somebody could get hold of the anthology, I think that would really help. I've listed the article with WikiProject India and on the open tasks list of WP:CSB to bring it to wider attention. - AdelaMae (t - c - wpn) 23:08, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Start-class

[edit]

The article hasn't been a stub for a while, so I went ahead and bumped the assessments to Start-class. Footnotes should probably be a top priority. - AdelaMae (t - c - wpn) 11:03, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
