Preveiws

[edit]

There are sevrel clips on the torchwood website with 8 minutes worth of footage of this episode, should anything be mentioned on the page at this point? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.31.131.184 (talk) 20:55, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nah... Only UK residents can access the website, and the episode airs in three days. EdokterTalk 23:30, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Music

[edit]

I see that other Torchwood episode pages list the music used. In case anyone as planning to add it for this one but is having trouble tracking it down, the tune playing when Captain John entered the club and told everyone to leave (of which I believe the only lyrics heard were "change must come....") was in fact "Mao Tse Tung Said" by Alabama 3.... ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:52, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone recognize the music playing during the last few moments when the Torchwood group is standing on the roof seeing John leave? -85.176.226.205 (talk) 17:03, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects

[edit]

This page can only be reached from the article on list of Torchwood episodes. There is a redirect from "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" to "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", a movie. I consider that the redirect should be deleted, have made this request, and also marked the discussion page of the redirect.Abigailgem (talk) 17:09, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's reachable from the disambig page which was updated over a month ago. Nothing needs to be done here. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 17:18, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
See disambig page Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (disambiguation) - reachable from the movie page. StuartDD contributions —Preceding comment was added at 19:51, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quote in lead

[edit]

"Due to popular demand, a specially edited pre-watershed repeat will be shown on the day of the next episode (January 23) at 7pm."

Yes, the prewatershed repeats are a known thing. Ought each episode article to carry a notice like that in the lead? --Kife 23:08, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It could go... it's already mention in the main article as well the in the list of episodes. EdokterTalk 00:41, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Order of Events

[edit]

I'm pretty sure that the scene where Jack finds out Gwen is engaged happens after the team meets John, but in the summary it happens before.Celsiana (talk) 19:02, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. I've fixed it. (There might be more inconsistencies though...) EdokterTalk 22:34, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kiddie version

[edit]

Should we put together a general list or a short paragraph about what's editted out for the pre-watershed version? It's not as... harshly editted as I imagined. --Johan (talk) 19:20, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It could be a short addition, yes, but I'm, er, still watching it! --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 19:22, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summary

[edit]

The plot summary of this article as it stands is some 1270 words in length [1], and it's full of minor details, which actually makes it quite difficult to glean anything from without reading the entire thing. I've tagged it with {{plot}}. --Tony Sidaway 01:18, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've slowly hacked about 300 words off it but it's still ridiculously long for a 50 minute TV episode plot. --Tony Sidaway 03:35, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Don't sweat it, please. I'll put it on my list for tomorrow. Er, actually, that's later today now. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 03:42, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Beaten you to it. It's now eight words per minute. Will (talk) 11:16, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. You seem to have a trick with tales.--Rodhullandemu (Talk) 19:39, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Must be my invisble touch. Will (talk) 20:06, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's a very good job. Thanks. --Tony Sidaway 19:42, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gray or Grey

[edit]

I've seen various spellings of the name? Does anyone know the OFFICIAL spelling? Leo (talk) 22:29, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Closed captioning used "Grey", so I'd say that's official until we're told otherwise.--uɐɔlnʌɟoʞǝɹɐs 19:42, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA

[edit]

Good article that fulfills all the GA criteria. Now consider improving the rest of the Torchwood episode articles to conform to the standards set by this one, then they can all be good articles. Zeus1234 (talk) 17:42, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
