I am particularly referring to the quote in the Literary mention section. Louieoddie (talk) 00:02, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Louieoddie, Thank you. This article deals with a temple in Tamil Nadu, India. As there was no article in this particular temple in English Wikipedia, I wrote this temple. There is a separate article, in Tamil language in Tamil Wikipedia on this temple. For easier identification I gave the topic in Tamil (Tamil: கீழ்வேளூர் கேடிலியப்பர் கோயில்). In order not to be deleted I have just done the following: (1) I am now deleting the Tamil article link in the article (2) I am also deleting the paragraph with the side heading Literary mention, as there is a reference in the first paragraph Significance. In order not to delete the article from English Wikipedia I gave my substantiation. I hope this will do. In future, I will try to add more sources and information, as and when available. Thank you very much for your comments which was an eye-opener to me not to include the non-English in the Wikipedia. I will apply this method in my ensuring articles. Regards.--B Jambulingam (talk) 08:04, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@B Jambulingam: Thank you for making the changes. I am thoroughly satisfied. If you want to translate the paragraph and put citations, I'm sure no one will have a problem with it. I personally consider an article on this subject to be a great addition to English Wikipedia. I was only concerned that many people couldn't read the quote.
As to the reference you removed, non-English references are allowed. See : Wikipedia:Verifiability#Non-English sources. Louieoddie (talk) 08:39, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Tilte

[edit]

The name Keezhvelur is spelled wrong. The Correct Spelling is "Kilveur Kediliappar Temple". I don't know how to change it. I request the moderators to have a look at this and make the necessary changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rdhinesh (talkcontribs) 12:23, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
