Missing Word(s)[edit]

Something is missing in this sentence: 'In 1939, she was awarded at the first all-Soviet competition of pop singers'. To award is transitive: the text needs to state what she was awarded. Also, the term pop singer(s) sounds odd for 1939. One would probably need to say something like singer(s) of popular songs. Norvo (talk) 03:25, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
