There seems to be some confusion as to how significant it is to offer the content of Wikipedia throughout its various languages. searching in wikipedia in the German language will reveal a brief article which has already been in exitance for quite some time.

If you can show that your band (I'm assuming that you are a band member, judging from your user name) meets any of the criteria in WP:MUSIC, the article is welcome to stay (I might be tempted to tag it for cleanup, though, since some of the wording is clearly advertising). --DrTorstenHenning 09:07, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Likely, the assumptions made, sir, have been done so reflecting some personal experience that you have made with the so-called vanity poster, who, hoping to utilize an international forum to gain notoriety or propagate fictional or semi-fictional credentials, have abused the anonymity and openness of this platform. I am not a member of this band, or have any relations with anyone who has been, I find, however, it a most remarkable that this point has been further propagated, after providing a first answer to the delete request tag with which this brief article had originally been adorned. If your only suspicions are based upon my personal choice of handle, then the direction to the German Wiki should have sufficed to demonstrate that this information has already been available to the German speaking Wikipedia user. As to those criteria regarding the bands notoriety, I respond, firstly, as listed at least two full length albums from a central Independent Record Label, in this case Vitaminepille Records, and the commercial and artistic success of this or any other significant band of a relatively well-known sub-genre, here Deutschpunk, thought small when compared to the fiscal success of internationally renowned recording artists. I, secondly, feel inclined to respond, most civilly asking for suggestions if the good sir wishes to assist in the improvement of this article by contributing his personal knowledge of the Deutschpunkszene, the reaction of fans to this or other related or unrelated bands in the German speaking Nations, and more importantly in other lands of the world. Having no further time at present I cordially invite you, good sir, to work productively with me, instead of libeling and assuming, simply because of the choice of a handle, or a personal interjection.

Why this hostility? Instead of giving the proof that Knochenfabrik meets WP:MUSIC in the discussion page, you might just as well have edited it into the article itself, and we could have closed this point of the discussion discussion without using heavy artillery language like libel. At this point I assume that you did not know that by using the world libel you were actually accusing me of having committed a criminal act. The fact remains that some of the language in the article is clearly advertising (most dynamic or most widely loved, for example). Or do you think that these phrases are propagating a neutral point of view? --DrTorstenHenning 10:48, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
