Knoxfield and Scoresby Heights Merged to become Carrington?[edit]

Just running a double check on this. I have previously attended Carrington Primary and the school was called Carrington while Scoresby Heights was still running. I know that Scoresby Heights closed at approx the second half of '96 and thanks to Kennett, it was turned into a residental street called Wattleview Rise. AFAIK, Knoxfield was renamed Carrington at the start of '95. Can anyone verify these facts? Lakeyboy 08:35, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Knoxfield Primary School merged with Scoresby Heights Primary School, and became Carrington Primary school at the start of 1994. I attended Knoxfield Primary School for Grade 1 in 1993 and subsequently attended Carrington Primary School for grade 2 in 1994 until I graduated in 1998. I know for a fact Scoresby Heights Primary school was closed at the end of the school year in 1993 (sometime around December 18 I'm assuming depending on which date the Friday fell on)and demolition began some time early in the next year to build the suburban streets Wattleview Rise. The new merged school, Carrington Primary School, definitely opened their doors in 1994 :) --Berrie (talk) 08:21, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
