Comment[edit]

Where can we find an English (FRench or Greek) version of Beli Mugri (White Dawns)? Also, where can we find in the same languages writings by Racin on the Macedonian language? Thanks Politis 17:51, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Try the external link "White Dawns", may contain external links to the Macedonian version and possibly other versions. Cheers. Mactruth (talk) 19:14, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The languages and national views of Racin.[edit]

Racin's first literary production was a poem in Serbo-Croatian, published in 1928 in the Zagreb magazine "Kritika". Together with the poets Gjorgevich and Aksic in 1932 in Skopje he published also a collection of poems in the Serbo-Croatian language under the name "1932". His only collection of poems in the Macedonian Veles dialect is "White Dawns" published in Zagreb in 1939. He wrote also six poems in the Bulgarian language. Jingiby (talk) 09:32, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In the article called "Is the Macedonian question resolved", Racin wrote: If in the past the Serbian chauvinists and fascists recognized only one people in Macedonia - the Serbs, while today the Bulgarian fascists admit that only Bulgarians live in Macedonia. Of course, both sides produce piles of "scientific" and "historical" evidence, but in both cases the Macedonian people were forcibly made Serbian or Bulgarian. And the truth was only that in Macedonia, as Serbs or Bulgarians, felt themselves a little or a bigger part of the people ... According to the national feelings of its people, Macedonia was and now is a big mixture. According to the religion as a determinant factor, Macedonia is divided as follows: in the best case, only the Orthodox would be able to feel Bulgarian and in that way their percentage is bigger than 50%. Muslims, Jews, etc. do not feel and may not feel themselves Bulgarians. The Muslims are Turks and Arnauts. That is why the Macedonian national question is an international question. Its immediate solution can not be achieved at the national, but only at international level. The right to theses, which consider as Bulgarians, should be preserved and protected, but the right to theses, which are not Bulgarians, should also be preserved and protected. Jingby if you paid attention to the letter he says “не е поголемо од 50%“ which means its either 50% or less then 50% but not more then 50%, and in the letter he stated only orthodox could be bulgarians but didn't suggest that all orthodox were in fact bulgarian
in 1941 during the occupation of Veles Koco Racin actively criticized the bulgarian occupation, in one of his letters asking for a free macedonia he clearly showed a pro-macedonian stance :
