I have tried to keep NPV and keep the article clean and well organized. Compare to Coimbatore Golf Club, the next best Tamil Nadu golf club article. Marcus (talk) 09:22, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Reasoning

• "The club was established on June 17, 1895[4] by twelve fun loving British golfers."
• "Fine greens adorn the course like emeralds. [2]"
• "Contact: Mr.Victor, The Kodaikanal Golf Club, Golf Links Road, Kodaikanal 624 103, Tamil Nadu, India. Tel: +91 - 4542 - 240323 / 241255 between 10 am to 5 pm."
• "The well furnished club house recently gave up the 19th hole as the liquor license became too costly."

These are some of the more egregious examples, but there is a general advert-like tone to the article that is inappropriate for an encyclopedia. In addition, there are various (relatively small) grammatical and stylistic issues, and the article fails to establish the course's notability. TallNapoleon (talk) 10:10, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

• • addressed issues and will remove tags, moved address, will continue on grammer and style. sources are mostly the website of the club itself and the official website of the Kodaikanal municipality. A couple of .com Indian golf web sites give some filler details. I believe notability is well established by wildlife section. Marcus (talk) 02:32, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
