Are you sure the name of Mabe Village is based on the word "maybe"? It doesn't really seem much like it does... That's just my opinion, I don't want to delete it incase that is true. I'll edit it when I find some evidence supporting that.

Well, um, the question is how do you pronounce it? If it's pronounced like "may+be" then it no doubt is. I'll have to dig up that Jap<->Eng sometime... hmmm, now where was that comparison?!?... hmmm... Master Thief GarrettTalk 6 July 2005 08:49 (UTC)
It's possible, since the entire island is a dream.

I played a rom of the Japanese version and the katakana didn't pronounce "Maybe", It was Me- (long e sound) then be (not bi) meh,it's hard to write katakana out in English but I think you get the picture. If I get on the computer that can use Japanese language (i.e. the school computer) then I'll change this to make it easier to see what I mean.

Just a thought: nothing particularly urgent, but wouldn't it be nicer to use screenshots from the DX version? I'd be willing to upload some.

Update: Okay. I have uploaded replacements for the current images. Every care has been taken to ensure that all images are as close as possible to their black & while equivalents. The images were captured in PNG format using the latest release of Visual Boy Advance, using default video settings, normal filter and "real colors" rather than "GameBoy colors". If you have any questions regarding these images or believe it was inappropriate to replace the originals, please state your concern here or contact me via my talk page. Flutie Flakes[edit]

Some weird guy wrote down that Link's Awakening's Ocarina is called a "Flute". It's not a Flute. It's an Ocarina. Which I guess could be CONSIDERED a type of Flute, because it's an African flutish, uh... thing, but still, it's more accurate to call it an Ocarina and not a flute because it is actually CALLED an Ocarina in the game, not a Flute. If someone wants proof of the non-flutish nature, I made a screenshot of what the game calls the item when you get it. "You've got the Ocarina!" Not "You've got the Flute!" So, anywho, I included an imageshack link to that picture so you can see for yourself and stuff. Yep. [1]
