Over the last couple of days I spent a lot of work on improving the article. I think it has been shaped up quite nicely now, though it can still be a bit more improved. More could be added about the (early) history of Konflict and their background for example. I've been searching for an old interview with them to source for this, but wasn't able to find any. There should have been one in Knowledge Magazine around 2000/2001, but their online archive does not go back that far. Also I am considering to rename the article to Kemal and Rob Data and make this one a redirect, as it was originally with the old deleted article. At least the quality of this article should be high enough that it no longer would be considered for deletion, and I think I also sufficiently solved the citation issues. I removed all those tags. --Mwvantol (talk) 12:08, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
It would be a travesty to delete this page. One only needs to look at the sheer amount of (established) Wikipedia pages that site this duo to understand their importance and influence. Deleting this page would be not only a slap in the face to the fans and artists themselves, but to drum & bass music in general, as an entire subgenre (neurofunk) was brought to the forefront of electronic music by these two artists. They released dozens of tracks on several record lablels; they sold thousands of copies. What more is needed to establish notability? I can't imagine. I sit here and write this in Los Angeles as just one of the tens of thousands of fans of Kemal & Rob Data (Konflict) that exist worldwide. I was especially outraged at the previous deletion.
- I just added a link to the 2010 Knowledge Mag article where it shows that Konflict - Messiah was one of the most influential Drum & Bass tunes from the 2000-2010 period. I hope this resolves the notability issue, but the article still needs a lot of improvement. I also added an infobox for some information and to hold the picture. --Mwvantol (talk) 19:50, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
