Dubious

[edit]

The Kostenko mine is a coal mine owned by ArcelorMittal Temirtau, a subsidiary of Luxembourg-based steel manufacturing company ArcelorMittal since the mid-1990s.[2][4]

This can't be correct. Arcelor and Mittal Steel didn't merge until later. Lostpw (talk) 14:42, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Lostpw: Do you know of any source for a correct version? JBW (talk) 19:14, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I added a link. Kazakh Wikipedia (through Google Translate) seems to confirm that Ispat International was probably the first to buy it. They bought it from something called "Karmat", either a government concern or a local company (Kar=Karaganda?). Lostpw (talk) 16:22, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
