Kotarim is notable since it is an established publishing house. It's founder and owner, Moshe Alon, is a veteran, well known, prize winner, Israeli journalist and editor. Among Kotarim's books we can mention:

- The biography of the late Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, written by the famous journalist Robert Slater

- A novel by prof. Amnon Rubinstein, a prolific writer, formerly Israeli minister and member of the Knesset. Ykantor (talk) 16:36, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kotarim makes also a great bibliographical service by means of publishing personal testimonies of historical events like the Holocaust, the construction of the Israeli society, the Jewish life in Diaspora etc., encourages new talents in Hebrew prose and poetry etcEwan2 (talk) 22:41, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
