There is no source for the coordinates.

The Maplandia link is to Gordil, which is in a different prefecture. Maplandia has four Koumala links: to Mali, Gabon, Cote d'Ivoire, and Australia, but no links to Central African Republic.

There is no settlement apparent in the aerial imagery anywhere near the Koumala airstrip, which is abandoned.
