Wasn't this actually called "Kowloon Walled City"? - David Stewart 09:38 21 May 2003 (UTC)
The "Walled City" is just a very small part of the current Kowloon City District.

City University
Isn't it within the Kowloon City District instead of Sham Shui Po? (it's Kowloon Tong, obviously) Deryck C. 02:06, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Parts of Kowloon Tong west of the railway, such as the Festival Walk shopping centre, the City University and Yau Yat Tsuen, are within Sham Shui Po District. :-) — Instantnood 10:55, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

- It is located in Yau Yat Tsuen in Sham Shui Po District, but NOT Sham Shui Po. Also, this article never moved and clearly should only covers Kowloon City, but NOT the whole Kowloon City District. Matthew hk (talk) 16:39, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
Fluff
This stuff looks like some local community development rep wrote it up: "Far from being a slum, the densely packed streets of Kowloon City have always been some of the most active and exciting in Hong Kong (decreased by the loss of the local airport) featuring a busy wet market and a complex bike park in the old walled city where one can rent a bicycle for a small fee."
I mean, wow. That's totally one-sided. Plus we do know that parts of the City (namely the Walled City) were indeed a slum, which is contradicted by the words "...always have been." If somebody familiar with the area wants to work on rewriting this, be my guest...it looks to need some help. --Edwin Herdman 06:18, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
