The Krafla geothermal power plant consists of two 30 megawatt units, with double pressure input and double flow turbines with 5 stages on each side. It draws its energy from 17 high pressure production wells with 110 kg / second of 7.7 bar and, thanks to new technologies, 5 low pressure production wells with 36 kg / s of 2.2 bar. [3]
