Can someone please list the ratio decendi of the case here ??? 58.105.207.228 19:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An external link I provided to a case brief was expunged without explanation. Was there something wrong with this particular case brief? If there is nothing wrong with an edit then please do not interfere with it. I was an avid contributor to wiki until about two years ago when I finally became fed up with having my edits micromanaged. I thought it might be time to give wiki another shot. And now, on my very first new contribution, I find that nothing has changed. M-Sheffield (talk) 13:49, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I deleted it: sorry to not explain. But first, it's probably better not to give voice to third party companies providing what is not-that-great-a-service; and second, the best summary should be HERE on Wikipedia. An appropriate external link would be something like the Bailii transcript of the case itself, but I think Bailii hasn't done one yet. Those are good reasons, and I delete every single external link to lawnix, swarb, or whatever else I find for the same reason. As for your self indulgent boo-hooing over getting reverted, I think very few people would care! If you were an avid contributor by the same name two years ago, I never saw anything you did. But if you want to come and create new pages, add something substantive, which is quality driven and accurate, I personally welcome it with open arms. We need all the English lawyers we can get!
