Negative consequences

[edit]

I wonder, were there any negative effects from creating this huge reservoir? Did some historical towns have to be flooded? How significant was the ecological impact? I hope someone can add this, as I have no way of obtaining this information. Balcer 22:50, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There may well be. The creation of the Kiev Water Reservoir was a huge disaster and a permanent threat to Kiev. There might be something here as well --Irpen 02:11, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
