Somebody keeps removing references to this man's history as a Christian church planter and leader, despite it being documented. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Checkerof (talkcontribs) 09:24, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There appears to have been a considerable amount of controversy surrounding the Hope of Bangkok Church, so BLP issues will have to be considered. I don't see anything problematic with the current sentence, though. --Paul_012 (talk) 17:03, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It would be helpful, then, if people stopped removing this. It seems to be in line with widespread online scrubbing of this from the record. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Checkerof (talkcontribs) 13:02, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The church he founded does not want his name associated with them. From what I heard, they sacked him for adultery, misappropriation of funds, and for compromising with Buddhism. They removed all his sermons, books, articles, etc., and told their members to return anything with his name on it to them. They do not want his name associated with them, and they certainly would not appreciate Wikipedia's article making that connection. David Cannon (talk) 08:38, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not only that, Kriengsak himself want to cut all his association with Hope of Bangkok Church, for the purpose of his political career.
Someone removed the article below (under heading "Articles in English available online"), which was written by Kriengsak, some people do not want to associated Kriengsak with his previous Christian background at all.

I don't think this is a real biography, more a puff piece. Very few citations to grandiose claims. Be wary. 2620:10D:C092:600:0:0:1:730 (talk) 18:38, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
