Resounding Name[edit]

Thai Wiki says university is named for its founder, เกริก มังคละพฤกษ์ (RTGS: Kroek Mangkhlaphrik.) For เกริก there were no results in the thai-language.com dictionary. However, it reports the following information was found in the Royal Institute Dictionary (1982): เกริก /เกฺริก/ [วิเศษณ์ Thai grammar modifier] กึกก้อง, ดังสนั่น, เลื่องลือ, ยิ่ง.
