Removed deletion notice. This is a published and recognized poet's biography. The fact that at least two published pieces of work, one held at Library of Congress the other a celebration of his work in audio format including many 'notable', validate Mr Sahar as a 'notable' poet. Sahar's poetry is also important because it aims to bridge national, ethnic and religious divide that exist in the sub-continent. Furthermore, simply because he is a poet who was active in the pre-internet days and writes in a language whose script is not easily transcribed to webpages does not mean that he is a 'non-notable' poet. Little information about his biography is easily found on the web although numerous Youtube videos of him reciting his poetry exist. This is therefore a work in progress and will require 'conventional' research which is underway. It is for these reasons that deletion notice which only cited 'non-notable'(?) as the reason for deletion has been removed.

Kanwar Mohinder Singh Bedi Award[edit]

I'm finding mentions of the Mahindrasingh Bedi Award and the Mahendra Singh Bedi Award, presented by Haryana Urdu Academy. Is this the same award as the Kunwar Singh Bedi Award, also known as the Kanwar Mohinder Singh Bedi Award? -- Green Cardamom (talk) 06:59, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date and place[edit]

There is some editorial dispute over birthdate and place. See this edit.[2] which says born 1908 in a village called Chak Bedi. The current article says 1920 in a different place. Neither are sourced. -- GreenC 15:54, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
