[edit]To whoever in Writing for the Digital World is editing this I am seething. Kurri is my hometown and I would have loved to cover this. Do it justice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenaemadden (talk • contribs) 01:08, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Video media
[edit]I have just digitized a super 8 film reel, amazingly of Kurri Kurri aluminium smelter in operation, which was recorded by my grandfather Les Whellum (dec'd) many years ago. I think it would be a great contribution to display on this page -- if I upload the video to wikimedia commons could someone please embed it properly for me? --anthony Akjmphoto (talk) 09:50, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- That seems like something that would be a great addition! Well, I'm not completely sure if a video would fit well into an article (it depends on the video), but I imagine still frames from the video would work well since currently the article lacks any images of the smelter, and the whole video would be welcome on commons. - Amazing Pokechu22, thank you so much for your reply; I have uploaded the clip to Commons, it is located at 101.176.198.101 (talk) 16:31, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for uploading it! I've added it into the infobox. --Pokechu22 (talk) 04:28, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
