The disparity seems to be that his bio page concentrates on his personal history and his philosophy, while the Survivalism page concentrates on his writings that influenced the Survivalist movement. I find his racism quite offensive, yet I still value the copious volume of practical information that he has published--particularly his reprints of pieces from the 19th Century that have have applicability for modern self-sufficiency.
