KW has lived for many years at Pwllfanogl (see for example [1]). This is nearer Llanfairpwll than Menai Bridge.

Mother's character

[edit]

Ian654321, you have added this sentence:

  • His mother was an emotionally repressed woman who had a virulent dislike of the Welsh and the Welsh Language.

Do you have a source for this? Is it from the The Welsh Academy Encyclopaedia of Wales which is cited at the end of the paragraph? This is a contentious claim, and if it is unsourced then it should be removed. Verbcatcher (talk) 16:56, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Ian654321: thanks, I think I have that book somewhere, but I can't find it right now. It would be better to give his exact words with quote marks, for example: Williams wrote that his mother was "an emotionally repressed woman who had a virulent dislike of the Welsh and the Welsh Language". would this be accurate?
