Acting

[edit]

Under Coronation Street, it is stated as fact that the subject's acting abilities are shown clearly. This is subjective. Would it not be better to merely decribe the critical reception of her performances? —Preceding unsigned comment added by PDitta (talkcontribs) 12:01, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lebanese ancestry

[edit]

She is in the British people of Lebanese descent category, but there is nothing about her ancestry in this article. Does anyone know the details? Nietzsche 2 (talk) 16:05, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to this: http://www.eveningleader.co.uk/news/Coronation-Street39s-Kym-Marsh-to.4311442.jp her mother was a Lebanese immigrant, but it looks very unreliable so I wouldn't personally want to use it as a source. This one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artist/vrw6/ seems a little better, since it is a BBC page and they tend to be more reliable. Hope this helps you! Her mother is Lebanese. I can vouch for that, as they live four doors from me. Her dad is English and is a joiner called Dave. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.129.132 (talk) 23:31, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sentence needs editing

[edit]

'Kym Marsh has stated that she eats an onion everyday before going to work to give her energy during an interview on This Morning on March 2008.' This makes it sound like she needs the energy for the interview. Would it not read better as 'During an interview on This Morning in March 2008, Kym stated ..... to give her energy.

Also, at the moment, her contract extension is mentioned twice. Once should be enough. Grandma Roses (talk) 13:35, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Manchester Evening News article cited is incorrect - Kym didn't go to The Brychall High School. She went to Cansfield High School. I went to The Byrchall High School at the time 'Popstars' was being televised, and lived near Cansfield High School. It was Cansfield that was hanging banners outside the entrance wishing her well and shouting loudly about how she'd been a pupil there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.13.203.124 (talk) 17:07, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
