Verwaltungsgemeinschaften > townships[edit]
Verwaltungsgemeinschaft has no neat equivalency in the US or UK. In the UK the nearest is the "council", and in the US is "township" (subdivision of a county, in which several towns may - or may not - exist). As "township" is less ambiguous in this context as "council" it is included. In any case, the explanatory link is preserved. Nu schwaeztma' Englisch! István 04:39, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
