I have just added archive links to 2 external links on LGBT history in Iran. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20120517062201/http://www.gaycitynews.com:80/gcn_432/iraniansourcesquestion.html to http://www.gaycitynews.com/gcn_432/iraniansourcesquestion.html

Templates
[edit]There are not multiple issues and why do we need page numbers? Contaldo80 (talk) 15:01, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- WP:VERIFY, the article it's not properly cited and there is content that is unsourced. Sourcing needs to be "clearly and precisely (specifying page, section, or such divisions as may be appropriate)". You need to demonstrate verifiability of the content in order to remove the templates. Rupert Loup (talk) 15:12, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- But the primary sources are referenced - does it matter what page they appear on the secondary source? I think you're just being pedantic. Contaldo80 (talk) 15:30, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- ? It's a policy. And yes, it matters so it can be verified by the readers. Rupert Loup (talk) 15:47, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- It's not a strict policy. Good referencing is admirable but not always essential. It's most important if someone thinks a claim is being made and it isn't. Contaldo80 (talk) 16:41, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- I respectfully disagree. It's a core content policy. Rupert Loup (talk) 19:53, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
