Updated

[edit]

I updated the information as much as I could. A picture of this phone should be put up in the infobox. i'm not sure of all the colors available right now. Jungster02 (talk) 07:30, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the copyright for the image at http://mobilephones.us.lge.com/phone.aspx?id=370 is free for use. However, I really have no idea. If anyone knows if we can use any of these, please do.Noz92 (talk) 01:39, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do not delete

[edit]

This is by no means a quality article, and I simply put it up knowing that others will expand it (I do not have very much information about the topic, but it is a popular enough item to deserve an article).

Speedy declined. This is certainly not patent nonsense. (non-admin CSD decline) J.delanoygabsadds 20:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This phone comes in 3 different colors; Black, and the blue slide out, green and the white slidout, and white with the white slide out. This phone does have a sslide out "QWERTY" Keyboard that helps you text faster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.166.44.73 (talk) 06:25, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone have more info on this phone. This article states to many opinions and not straight forwards info. --buzlink (talk) 03:14, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To the best of my knowledge this phone is running a custom Qualcomm OS. Chipset version is Qualcomm MSM6100 ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.127.128.2 (talk) 16:36, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MeBoy - Gameboy Color (Runs most games near full speed, even some Gameboy Color)

MobileZX - ZX Spectrum (many playable games, requires javax.microedition.io.Connector.file.read (JSR-75) permission and a signed JAD to access SDHC Card)

Nescube 2.3 - Nintendo Entertainment System (a little slow yet many playable games, requires javax.microedition.io.Connector.file.read (JSR-75) permission and a signed JAD to access SDHC Card) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.127.128.2 (talk) 19:45, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OTA upload tools

[edit]

Rumkin

http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php

(automatically creates JAD or Ringtone OTA settings, allows many previously restricted items to be installed)

Sprint Developer

http://144.230.114.37/adp6/upload/upload.php

(requires JAR and JAD to be zipped together, jadgen tool can be used to create JAD files for JAR) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.127.128.2 (talk) 20:04, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Filesystem and OS Quirks

[edit]

Files or Folders that start with a Period make the SD or SDHC card unreadable. For example the folder named ...And Justice for All should not be copied directly from a Windows music library to the SD/SDHC card. Apostrophies ( ' ) make file attributes invisible to the OS. The default media player will playback files with apostrophies but 3rd party applications or MP3 players (like KD Player) may produce Java syntax errors. The OS/Filesystem will not allow access to folders with apostrophies in their label. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.127.128.2 (talk) 20:20, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Opera Mini 4.1 (with JSR-75 filesystem support)

[edit]

Download the Jad file from:

http://people.opera.com/perja/om/om.jad

and the Jar file from:

http://people.opera.com/perja/om/om.jar

Then sign the Jad and use Sprint's content upload tool to add it to the phone —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.127.128.2 (talk) 14:24, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Separate Article for LG rumor touch

[edit]

There should be a separate article for the LG rumor touch in my opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.88.34.4 (talk) 19:30, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
