No issues with sources, they're all quite reputable, some the definitive option. What does "the skier with cerebral palsy may tie more quickly" mean? Tie the poles on? (I've only cross-country skied once in my life, and never downhill skied, so if this is common skiing terminology, I'm unaware of it.) Okay, so I've revised the Technique paragraph in question, to the point where it reads smoothly for me. That said, results may vary, there may be new missteps.
